Thomas
Ahn, President and Chief Executive Officer
Thomas
Ahn is primarily involved in working with borrowers and lenders
in the structuring and funding of loans. Prior to founding the
Company in 2003, Mr. Ahn worked independently as a Senior Loan
Officer at a hard money lender, where his responsibilities included
loan originations, marketing, and loan underwriting.
Mr. Ahn
spent ten (10) years in investment banking as Vice President with
Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, Salomon Brothers and Nomura Securities,
Inc.
He was
also Chief Executive Officer for Deal Management Systems, a San
Diego software company that specialized in corporate transactions,
a General Partner with Flynn Gallagher Associates, a Venture Capital
firm that was involved in investments for early stage technology
companies, and Owner of Access Nevada, the largest ISP in Nevada,
when it was successfully acquired by Viawest Internet Services.
Mr. Ahn
holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at
San Diego in Management Science and a Master of Business Administration
from the University of California at Berkeley.
Richard
Russell, Chief Operating Officer and Principal
Richard
Russell is primarily involved in supervising the overall operations
of the firm. He is also an integral part of loan underwriting
and approval. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Russell was
the chief operating officer at two other hard money lenders. His
responsibilities included loan origination, underwriting, funding,
servicing and managing work outs.
Mr. Russell
spent 14 years in corporate accounting and operations with Synbiotics
Corp., a biotech research and manufacturing firm. His responsibilities
included supervision of the accounting staff, as well as managing
the purchasing, production planning and inventory control departments.
Mr. Russell
holds a bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University
of New Mexico.
Georgette
de Terrero
Georgette
de Terrero is primarily involved in the overall administration
of the firm.
She works directly with borrowers and lenders to insure the proper
documentation of all loan transactions. Prior to joining the firm,
Ms. de Terrero worked for another hard money lender in administration.
Ms. de
Terrero brings her experience as a top level Executive Assistant,
having worked for eleven years for a former U.S. envoy during
the Reagan/Bush administrations.
Ms. de
Terrero is a licensed real estate agent/loan officer and notary
public commission. She received a B.A. in Philosophy and Letters
from the Universidad Central of Venezuela, Caracas.
